Nutrition- Well Balanced Meals
Believe it or not, this is the most important component for muscle growth to occur. No Matter what your goal is, without proper nutrition, supplementation and hydration you will make little or no gains and find yourself very frustrated and most likely quit because you won't be seeing any gains. The importance of raw materials for your body to use for muscle growth cannot be stressed enough.
First off, you must understand that there are three macro nutrients concerned with bodybuilding:
-Protein
-Carbohydrates
-Fat
Cardiovascular Fitness
The number one killer in most of the developed world is cardiovascular disease (CVD).
It is important to maintain a healthy life. It will help to keep you from having heart related problems, weight problems, and developing certain diseases (such as diabetes). Cardiovascular fitness can be accomplished by exercising on a regular basis. It is recommended that most adults get a minimum exercise allotment of 30 minutes per session, 3 sessions per week.
There are many types of exercise that you can participate in. You can do brisk walking, aerobics, jogging, exercise machines, hiking.
Flexibility
Flexibility is known as the range of motion at a given joint. Having good flexibility allows you to increase your physical performance, allowing the joint the ability to move further with less energy. Flexibility increases blood supply and nutrients to joint structures, which in turn increases circulation, leading to greater elasticity of surrounding tissues.
All stretches should not be forced.
Flexibility is achieved over a period of time.
Weight Resistance
The benefits of resistance exercise are well
documented, and ongoing research continues to prove that it's an important activity for Americans to be engaged in.
Resistance training, also known as strength training, requires the body to perform actions like pushing, pulling, and lifting, in relationship to an object or surface.
Weightlifting and calisthenics provide resistance training for your muscles
-Help raise your metablolsm. Muscle burns more calories than fat, so the more muscle you have, the more calories you'll burn all day long.
-Strengthen bones, especially important for women
-Maks you stronger and increase muscular endurance
-Increase your confidence and self-esteem
-Help you avoid injuries
-Improve coordination and balance
Vitamins & Supplements
Vitamins and nutritional supplements will compliment your regular diet if the foods you are eating are not supplying enough nutrients. Vitamins and minerals are substances that are found in the foods we eat, however, quite often we are not able to obtain our daily supply through our regular diet. For this reason, greater nutrition can be obtained through the use of vitamins and nutritional supplements. They will support your body's natural ability to heal itself and fight off infection, while enabling your body to have optimal growth, digestion and nerve function. Many common health problems can be prevented or alleviated through a healthy diet and the use of these vitamins and nutritional supplements.
